Kuran Village
CIRC Kuran
Ramlal Sharma is a teacher by profession. He is been in this profession more than 10 years. Hence he has great experience in the field of education. He works as a teacher in local Secondary School and also involved with Boudh Siksha Samiti. Being an active Social worker, he was very happy, when CIRC has opened its branch. Now he can see the positive changes, which are happening around the village.
Lack of professional man power, the school where Ramlal works as a teacher is unorganized and difficult to manage. Due to that reason, they cannot focus on each and every student properly. So, whenever students get some free time , they would go out of the school. According to Ramlal, “we have some students who have not attended classes for months. They remain absent months after months; sometimes they even don’t come for the examination, rather they roam around here and there, but after CIRC the whole scenario has changed completely.”
Since the local school is also connected to CIRC, members of the center help teachers in their educational activity. According to Ramlal, the problem of handing students has improved a lot with the help of CIRC members. Now instead of running away from school, students come to school regularly, come to CIRC to learn computer. Sometimes CIRC shows motivational, educational movies, students come to watch that very enthusiastically. Now students are more involved in the activities which have brought positive changes in the village.
